SMC "Specialty Merchandise Corp THIS IS A FRAUD TO GET YOUR MONEY Fontana California
I signed up and immediately canceled because the enrollment package sent to me stated I would have to pay over 400.00 dollars to be a member. I canceled immediately and never recieved my 24.95 back and out of the blue 3 months later States Recovery Systems INC at 800-211-1435 sends me a collection letter for 483.87. Saying I owe this to SMC. When I called the number for SRC I was told this is the way Specialty Merchandising Corp does business and pretty much is a scam. Yet they feel I still owe this money. It will be a cold day in, well you know before that happens. I see I am not the only person who has been taken advantage off expect this is now on my credit report and I do not owe anyone. The credit bureaus are a scam also because anyone can add negative untrue info on you and you have to pay to get justice so SMC is aware and takes total advantage of this crooked system.
