Snag-a-Job will inundate your email box with 'updates' about new jobs. My particular search revolves around my zip code and jobs within a 20-mile radius. They also also go by the name of Jobs.com.

First of all, they flash ads such as the old 'Get a Grant fom the Government' scam.  No bueno. Then, when you submit an application on Snag-a-Job, they ASK FOR YOUR AGE. Another no bueno....and illegal.

They say there are 1,647 jobs available in your zip code/job radius parameters. As you roll throught the job roster, however, you see the same jobs being repeated over and over on different pages. So in actuality, Snag-a-Job is INFLATING the number of jobs that are really available.

I followed up on a J.C. Penney store position at a mall nearby. I got the runaround. I asked them why they kept the ad going if in fact they are not really hiring. I was told they would hire seasonal helpers starting November 1, 2020. I had seen this J.C. Penney ad for at least two months in the Snag-a-Job updates. Notonc did the ad mention 'seasonal'or the fact that Penney's is not going to hire anyone for this position until November....maybe.

I wasted time, energy and gas to investigate a non-existent job. The market is really bad ans outfits like Jobs.com and Snag-a-Job offer false hope.

I am certian if I follow up on anything else from them, I will have a nad experience.

They also go by the name BEYOND.COM. There are no jobs! They sell your info to companies. Us job seekers are nothing but cash cows for them. They profit from us being un-employed! The more apps. we fill out, the more information they get to sell. I have been getting the e-mail spam but also 20 calls a day asking about furthering my education! I wasted a month following what I thought were promising job leads, nothing. I am glad that I'm not the only one speaking out about this deceitful company. They need to be shut down.
