Snuggie BOGO is a bait and switch, fraudlent billing SCAM Wallingford Connecticut
I attempted to order online from www.freesnuggie.com the "buy one get one" Snuggie with free book light. I tried to purchase ONE Snuggie and free booklight, which was advertised for $19.95 plus $7.95 shipping and handling. However, once I entered my credit card information, and clicked the PROCESS ORDER button, I was immediately presented with a screen telling me my order was being processed as: TWO Snuggies and TWO booklights for $19.95, TWO more Snuggies and TWO more booklights for $14.95, and shipping charge of $31.80. There was no way to check my order before it was placed, and no way to cancel my order online.
When I attempted to call customer service, it took me at least 20 tries to get through to them, and I was told that I could not cancel my order until my information had been uploaded or downloaded to their "system" and that I had to call back on the next business day. I also called my financial institution, who told me I had no recourse with them unless or until I never received the product, or until I had received the product and attempted to return and ask for a refund. I immediately filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and would urge anyone else who has had a similar experience (and I see several of them here already) to also file a complaint with the BBB.
