I saw the ad on television for the Snuggies wraps and thought they would be ideal for sitting around the house. When I called in to order them, I was taken through several processes; kind of a bait & switch. By the time they got done adding who knows how many charges, these 2 blankets wound up costing me over $45. No invoice accompanied the blankets and the customer service number listed would not go through.

My wife and I watch a lot of late night television and we are particularly watching for commerecials for the Snuggies. So far, I have recorded 10 different phone numbers. And customer service is still unavailable. I warn everybody I play Texas Hold 'Em with on the internt to avoid this as it is nothing but a flippin rip off.

Sounds like you feel for their upsells and now your trying to blame someone other than the real person at fault....YOU!!! No rip off here you just need to learn to say no.

Just because it is advertised on TV, does not mean it is not a rip-off

If you had waited a few weeks - you will find them being sold in stores for the half the price they charge for the TV version. They are not giving you anything "FREE", you pay for it because the TV version is the cost of at least 2 of whatever it is they are selling. When it comes out in the stores - its half the price of the TV version + you save the overpriced Shipping Charges Another thing to remember about advertisements of any kind, whether it be TV, Radio, Magazines, Newspapers and Internet ads. NO ONE CHECKS THE LEGITIMACY OF ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE that is being advertised! If someone is willing to pay for advertising - they will be sold advertising. Advertising brings in big money - Money is all that matters. So it is up to us the consumer to check things out first - before diving headlong into something that is usually too good to be true.
