Software-HQ When I placed my order for what I thought was a service provided by "Adobe Photoshop" I never received anything except a confirmation that I'd successfully "Joined" Software-HQ. I never intended to "Join" or pay anyone named Software-HQ. This is the most blatent false advertising I've yet to encounter on the internet. I can't believe these theives haven't been shut down yet. Software-HQ blatantly advertises as Adobe Photoshop and leads you to believe that you'll have access to many features that Adobe Photoshop offers for only $12.95 a year. I needed to open some files that required Photoshop and didn't want to spend a whopping six to eight hundred dollars for one project, so this looked like the perfect solution--and that's how they hook you. Once the order is placed with a credit card, a completely different site comes up saying that you've joined "Software-HQ and now have access to all kinds of downloads" (with no receipt of any kind for your payment). When I clicked on some of these "downloads" I saw that these were nothing more than free trials that the companies already offered without the help of "Software-HQ" and their fee. What's worse is that the Adobe Photoshop trial download isn't even available until July 1st! I, of course, attempted to contact them through email to cancel my "subscription" immediately, threatening legal action, but have heard nothing back from them. I also attempted to call their "800" phone number for assistance only to find that the phone number doesn't exist!
These guys are dirt-bags and need to be stopped!!! How does Adobe feel about this? It gives them a bad name and leaves me with a very bad taste in my mouth. I'll never trust an "Adobe" advertisement again and I plan to spread the news to my vast number of email contacts.
