This company distributes products to Sears. We purchased a Garden Oasis Hardtop Gazebo from Sears in Feb 2011. It says in the manual that the roof will hold up to all weather, including snow. After having it up this winter we noticed last month that there were what we thought were blossoms on the roof. When my husband went up to brush them off he found that they marks were holes in the plastic panels.
We did not have a harsh winter this year (no snow) just rain. We contacted the company and were told to send them pictures. Their answer was that they would cover the panels at a 50 percent reduction and that we would have to come up with $249. to cover the cost of the new panels.
Now, this structure was over $1000. and has a 3 year warranty. I asked them what their warranty covers and this was their answer "The 3 year warranty is only for general damages, it do not cover: Rust, Fabric and frame discoloration ,Breakage due to weather conditions. Water infiltration. Holes in roof panels." Now you tell me what DO they cover? We are now regretting this purchase. I will never buy from this company again and neither should you.
