Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I recieved a call this morning from a officer Kelly . He stated that I had took out a payday loan on line and I have not repaid it. I told him I have never recieved one . I asked him what the internet company was and all he came up with was sonic cash .net. He said I would have to get a attorney to get more information by 3pm or at 11 am I would being taken out of my work by a officer and taken to the court house . I was freaking out. He read me the charges fraudalant check writing and extorsion. I kept telling him I dont know what he was talking about. He just kept threating me and then hung up on me.

I went on line and the only sonic was sonic payday loans and they had no file on me. I called him back and told him this information and he said I owed $1095.00. I was horrified. I told him I wanted to talk to his supervisor. He again . Hung up on me. My husband called him and told him not to intervene or he will make a lawsuit against him then hung up on my husband. My husband called him back again wanting more information that he gave me and he yelled at my husband and said that both of us would be picked up tomorrow and go to court.

its against FEDERAL LAWS to threaten you with arrest - you cannot be arrested for debt. LEARN YOUR RIGHTS - WWW.FTC.GOV FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICE ACT You did not say whether the caller had an accent or not. There is a group out there that hacked a payday loan website and are terrorizing customers with bogus collections. Its been in the news. The caller always has a heavy accent - possibly indian. Read the article http://abcnews.go.com/Business/story?id=5621205&page=1 Have you ever had a Payday loan in the past? If not- it could mean its another group or the first group has expanded its hacking to other financial institutions if they call again - tell them you know all about their scam its all over the internet and news in the US and hang up
