DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. If I had read online reviews I would not have done business with them, it was a nightmare. The Forest River Salem site referred me to them as a dealer. I live 125 miles away at Gaston SC. I called about the 241 and was told by the salesman Cliff Clarkson that they didn't have any in stock but they do have a 261 at the same price. He said the unit had double bunk beds whereupon I told him we had no  children and no need for bunk beds. He reminded me that it was an excellent price (turned out to be a factory reject which could NOT be repaired) and that we could use the bunk beds for storage. Anthony, who prepped the unit, messed it up even more;

1. installed outside TV bracket onto .024" aluminum skin with no backer.

2. Replaced my tire assembly with another which had a

1/2" self-tapping screw in it. On the way home the screw dug deeper and deeper and the next morning my wife found it had a flat.

3. Installed incorrect brake control on my truck which doesn't work.

4. Installed the sway-bar at 18" instead of 21". I filled up at a Pilot, backed out and the cast-iron eye snapped off. I removed the weight distribution & sway bar and drove more than 100 miles with a very unsteady unit swaying behind me.

As I approached Pilot I noticed in my RR mirror that something was hanging 18" out. It was the camp kitchen. Turns out the camp kitchen door cannot close. I pried the door frame with a pair of pliers until I could secure the door.

We went camping labor day weekend and the bed collapsed. It had totally inadequate support . They ordered a new kitchen door & frame. Every week I called regarding the kitchen door and after 6 weeks I gave up.

The "new battery" they installed was a reconditioned Interstate which died permanently 2 days after our trip. Replaced by new Walmart battery for $108.

The gutters gushes water down the side walls, where it was joined, when it rains instead of down the spouts.

The electric stab jacks don't work.

The screen door frame bulges to the rear and cannot close nor keep bugs out.

I was tired of all the lies and decided to trade it in for another cheaper unit. I had to pay an additional $3,750. We'll see how this one turns out.

The salesman has signs all over his office extolling his virtues as a christian, yet he lied to me repeatedly. These signs are also all over the reception area os Sonny's Camp-and-Travel.

People who proclaim themselves to be Christians are morally bancrupt narcissists who presents a false image to the public for personal benefit.
