Sony Online Entertainment, SOE, SWG, Starwars Galaxies, Star Wars Galaxies flawed, buggy product. Poor/Non-existant customer service, abuse to customers Ripoff San Diego California Internet
Starwars Galaxies, an MMORPG Video game made by Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) in conjunction with Lucas Arts has sold/is selling this game knowing that it is extremely flawed and "buggy".
Due to their bugs, countless hours are wasted (I know, video games are wasted time anyways, but please follow me here) due to flaws in the programming. When customer service is contacted, they inform you that this is "just the way it is", direct you to non-existant forums, disconnect you or just plain Ban you from their service areas/customer forums.
The low quality of this horrid game as well as the terrible customer service is amazing considering the fact that you must pay $15/month just to play the game (no longer for me, I've had it!) and are still treated in this manner.
It is my opinion that they feel they can do this due to the general youth oriented age group this game is focused at, despite that fact that the avg age of it's customers (for this game) is in their early 20's.
I highly recommend that anyone seeking this game avoid it at all costs. I've never had experiences like this with any game, business or company employees in my 33 years.
An alternative or to coincide with my post here, I have informed the BBB of their poor business practices and hope you do to if you have similar issues.
