Sony consumer fraud rebate ripoff Coppell Texas
Their Rebate Contractor rebate ripoff for Sony CD-RW drives .....
The Sony fulfillment contractor in Texas reports to me that they are unable to process my rebate because they claim I did not send in the original UPC barcode from the package. They are wrong.
I carefully packaged my rebate according to the instructions -- as I always do. Sent off the envelope (and my evidence).
I have no way to resubmit my rebate application because THEY misplaced my UPC barcode. And I have no way to provide support for my argument. My fortune cookie says, "SOL."
A tidy little scam that is yet ANOTHER blow to the credibility of American business operations. As long as consumers continue to behave like sheep, we will continue to be treated like sheep. Criminy! I hate beeing ripped off.

This is SOP for this group - I have pruchased three (3) Sony CDRWs (three different times) and EVERY time get the same. I am still waiting for a rebate. I contacted Sony and they told me the same as to d**n bad. I stongly suggest that everyone stop buyinf ALL Sony products until the get away from this rip-off rebate clearing house. BTW other manufacturers using "Pargo" (sp) do NOT jerk you around like this.
