i purchased a very expense tv from sony about 2 years ago. about 2 weeks ago the tv stopped working. i called customer service for them to tell me the tv is out of the manufacturers warranty. so i decided tk complin to theor facebook page. inmediately someone contacted me and asked for me to stop pistingnon theor page and that they would resolve the issue for me. i was then contacted by their "escalation team" who ran a test on my tv and found that their was a defective part. they then put me in contact with the department that was in charge of dispatching someone to my home with the part, free of charge. a few days later i got an email from thar departmebt saying they would not fix the tv and that they will stand behind their original warranty. i have proof of the message saying the would resolve the issue for me.

You claim we have reading comprehension issues but you never told us what part of your report we failed to comprehend. Your report is riddled with spelling and grammatical errors yet you criticized a commenter’s errors.

Your writing needs some serious work:

“i called customer service for them to tell me the tv is out of the manufacturers warranty.”

You failed to capitalize the first word in every sentence in your report. Manufacturer’s was used in the possessive form so the proper spelling requires an apostrophe.

“so i decided tk complin to theor facebook page.”

You failed to capitalize ‘so’ and ‘i’. ‘tk’, ‘complin’ and ‘theor’ are not words. ‘facebook’ should be capitalized. You made six errors in that sentence.

“asked for me to stop pistingnon theor page”

‘pistingnon’ is not a word. As previously mentioned, ‘theor’ is not a word.

“their was a defective part”

The correct word is there NOT ‘their’.

“i got an email from thar departmebt”

The ‘i’ should be capitalized. ‘thar’ is a word but it’s not the correct word for your sentence and ‘departmebt’ is not a word. You made only three errors in that sentence.

Concerning your second post:

“Being an adult is not letting someone lie to you.”

Being an adult is accepting the warranty terms that you agreed to at the time of purchase.

“But I don't have to accept the ‘tough s****, not my problem’ answer they gave me.”

Your quotation marks indicate that’s exactly what you were told. Is that your claim?

You convey a self-righteous attitude and I'm glad Sony declined your request.

Both of you clearly have reading comprehension issues. And the second post was pretty hard to understand as it was littering was spelling and grammatical errors. Being an adult is not letting someone lie to you. The fact of the matter is yes the tv was out of warranty. But I don't have to accept the "tough s****, not my problem" answer they gave me. I demanded answers and to why a very expensive tv could crap out in only 2 years and after catching Sony in at least three lies as to what was wrong with the tv they finally agreed to fix it for me only to re-n*g on that about a week later. Clearly the 2 of you have been screwed over by businesses in the past and didn't have the backbone to stand up for yourself. But when I pay for quality I expect quality and won't settle for anything less.

“…resolve the issue for me” is not the same thing as a free repair. The TV is out of warranty and therefore you do not have a valid complaint.

You requested the same benefit extended to customers that paid for an extended warranty. Request declined.
