I went to purchase a vehicle from South Colorado Springs Nissan on January 18th 2010.  It was a 2007 Nissan Sentra.  I was told the vehicle needed a new mass air flow sensor, and that they would take one out of another Sentra and when the new part came in off of national back order I would get the new mass air flow sensor.  May I add I have this on a written contract.  So I get the car and everything is good and a week went by I call my salesman and ask if the part is in and he quickly states no, and asked if something was wrong with the car.  I said, "no", but you said I would get the new part once it came in.  Another week went by and I emailed and he emailed me back stating that, "no it's not in yet .. hope you are enjoying the car."  So finally I called the parts department and asked if they had a mass air flow sensor in for a 07 nissan sentra. The parts employee stated we not only have one but we have 2 so just let us know if you need it.  I then asked if the part was ever on a national back order and they stated no.  So I hang up with parts and call my salesman and ask if the part is in.  He states, "NO"  I told him thats kinda funny because your parts department told me it's in.  He then says, "I will call you right back."  That was on a Saturday.  I then email him on Monday, because of course he didn't call me back.  He then said to find a day that best worked with my schedule and to bring the car in.  He said to find him to give him the keys to my car. RED FLAG...  I go in on a Friday and find my salesman and give him the keys.  I then tell him I will need a receipt for this transaction.  He states, "I will write you something up."  I told him that is not good enough, that "they" told me to get a recepit.  He turned pale white and asked, "who is they?"  I told him my mechanic. May I add I never went to see a mechanic.  I then leave with my husband and 9month old baby.  Not 10mins off of the dealership he calls and leaves a voicemail.  "Come get your car it's ready".  No way is it ready.  It takes longer to put a mass air flow sensor in a car then 5mins.  So I call him and he states, "It was never the mass air flow sensor it was the inteligent key sensor so your car is just fine."  I go back and confront the GM Mr. Jolly and ask why his salesman was going to pretend and have my car fixed until I asked for a receipt.  Mr. Jolly states, "Our service department is unreilable.  They told us the wrong part.  We contract out to have our cars serviced before we sell them.  We can't trust the people back there working"  Really?  Did he just tell me his service department sucked?  He sure did and then raised his voice like I was the one that did something wrong.  He was embarssed that his salesman wrote a check his butt couldn't cash.  So I left the dealership more than just mad.  I contacted the GM of both WOODMAN nissan and South colorado springs nissan.  He said, "oh I will just mail you the part."  He did not apologize for his incompetent people nor wasting all of my time.  He did not apologize for his salesmans deceptive ways.  He is suppose to mail me the part.  Well its been over a week and still no part.  Side note.  The finance manager told me he could not sell me the car without the clear coat package... BS... I contacted Nissan.. this is a scam as well.  you do not need to buy the clear coat package.  NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER BUY A CAR FROM ANY WHERE MR. MIKE JACKSON MAY WORK!!!!!!!! Horrible customer service.  Makes me appreciate the service I get at my local walmart store... Steer clear of south colorado springs nissan and woodman nissan
