We live in North Carolina but we spoke to South Pines Pomeranians in Claxton,Ga. numerous times before we went to pick up the dog. We went to a house on a red mud road out from the city. They had all sorts of dogs and ages. They had the puppy bathed and put in a pin for us.
They would not tell us where the Kennel was but indicated it was about 10 miles from this home. The people there were poverty level people. We felt bad for the puppy although it was not the size we wanted and paid the remaining fee of $400.00. We had previously paid 100.00 to hold the dog.
The dog was a pom but much larger than we had thought. We were sent the pictures of the mother and father but never actually got to see them. I now believe all the puppys had this skin disease and they knew it so they would not give out where the kennel was. The disease shows up about 2 years of age so they felt confident we would never see them again. I tried to contact them but they never responded. These people need to be prosecuted for selling dogs that are terminally ill.
