Kimberly-
When I went to David's I never entered any sweepstakes, just filled in my name & address & phone number on the card. There was no place that said my info would be sold (so I had no place to tell them NOT to sell it). I was not a typical young 20 something that was caught up in the wedding stuff, I was in my late 20's and knew the scams out there. There wasn't even a form to fill out for a sweepstakes at the David's I went too.
So don't put the blame back on us! I was called a million times by these scam artists, as WELL as local businesses (DJ's, Photographers), etc, who said they got my name and number off a list. I never went to any bridal shows, and David's was the only place I had gone too and gave out anything besides my name.
David's will never be recommended by me or my friends who had the same experience!

My name is Kim and I am an ex- employee of this company. Although I do not agree with alot of their procedures, I do see a flaw in your complaint.
When you went into David's Bridal's, did you happen to pass one of those ballot boxes that said, " Enter for your chance to win a free honeymoon vacation"? If you had read the fine print on the sweepstakes entry card it says that you will be contacted by a participating bridal regisrty.
That is how you gave David's Bridal authorization to distribute your information. You gave your address and other info for your chance to win. If you think you were done wrong by anyone, look at fault in yourself for not reading everything you sign your name to.
