Shaun, First of all, it would help if your rebuttal was at all coherent. If you go back and read what you wrote, your sentences don't even make sense. It is your type of uneducated people who support this scam. If it isn't a scam, as you so emphatically claim, answer these questions: 1. Why wasn't the ad in the paper advertising a sales job? I went to the interview thinking that I was applying for an office position, because that was what they led me to believe. 2. Why, when I asked to see the so-called "Peddler's License" after I was almost arrested could Marvin and Joe not produce one for me? 3. Why, when we were "Training" new "managers" were we told not to answer any questions? 4. Why was I told that road trips were paid for (hotels), and when I arrived, told that I had to pay for myself? See, maybe you aren't aware of how the real world works, but even at McDonald's, they pay you an hourly wage. And if you work another sales job - for example, at a car dealership - you can always make enough money for gas to and from work. See, what you don't understand is that a scam is defined as a business that lies to you, misrepresents salary, and pretends to be something that it is not. In other words, any "distribution center" from World Perfume, INC is a SCAM. Get it through your thick skull, please!

in 20 years of selling many different items its those whom least understand our industry and find it difficult that complain the most usually because they cant get the job done if it truly were a scam then they wouldnt hae offices everywhere and people makeing money did they offer a product yes? so what if they wanted you to start with family and freinds it is easier for a newby to talk to family and freinds then as they get better move to strangers sheesh amazing that people assume because they cant get it it must be wrong,,,,,,,

I have begun my campaign against Southwest Marketing and Promotions and World Perfume, Inc. I have already sent my first letter and will follow that up by filing a law suit For those of you who have been "ripped off" by a World Perfume or Scentura distribution center, I have found the best thing to sue for: Misrepresentation of Job and Salary: No employer or future employer is allowed to make any reference to garanteed salary or job description if he is not able to deliver. In other words, when they tell you that you will make $400-$700 per week in training - or whatever number you were supplied with - and when they tell you that the job consists of administrative and managerial duties, they break that oral contract when they put you out on the streets to sell perfume.
