I applied for this job a couple of weeks ago. Work from home 40 hrs a week and a company to pay me $20.00 an hour. I thought I found a good job, I could actually stay home with my kids and get paid! That's not exactly what happen and I'm here to warn you all, Don't fall for it!!!!
A couple of weeks ago I applied for a job, (Posted by the Westword) looking for Data Entry Positions. I was emailed back stating that I got the job. In a couple of weeks they would send me a email on what need to be done next. In the process they would send me a package by FedEX stating certain instructions by email, of what they expected next.
Yesterday, I got an email with a tracking number for my delievery for FedEx. In the email stated that all expenses were covered by company! NO taxes would be charged to you!
When getting the check/money orders the following deductions were to be taken out. *$100.00 for BS 1 Accounting Software, $150.00 Peach Tree Software, $100.00 for a signing bonus, $180.00 Western Union Money Transfer Charges, $1400.00 to Shipping Agent for Equipment (laptop computer and scanner/photocopier).
I got 2 money orders, both $970.00 equaling $1940.00. I took them to a check cashing place. The guy at the check cashing place called Money Gram and verified that they were fake!!!!! He gave me the money orders back and stated that I should go to the police.
Before going to the Police I printed all emails transactions and turned everything in.
Giving you the heads up, this is a scam!!!! Be smart, Don't fall into their TRAP!!!
