Square Inc. Secretive terms change imperil payment to users Internet
Square-up just sneaked in a change in their terms that means it is their option to charge customers but not pay the vendors.
By continuing to use Square-up you agree not to accept payment for items that could cause harm to others. What is on that list? That is up to them and they do not need to disclose it to you! So it could include guns, knives, rat poison, baseball bats, and in New York City, a super-sized Coke.
How to get your money back? Could try suing them (good luck with that!)
I no longer trust them: I am switching to an alternative card processor.
