I was ripped off by Stamps.com, I signed up for this service over a year ago, was charged the initial monthly fee. I was not satisfied with their service, so I cancelled! I got my cc statement and there was a charge of $85.13. I immediatly contacted their support email ([email protected]) They said that they would contact me with in 24 hours, they did not. I called my cc company and they are working to get my money back. I know that this is not a whole lot of money, but it is still my money and I want to keep ahold of it. I also wrote a letter to my newspaper, and it was published last weeks issue. It seems that this company is ripping off every one. We cannot let them get away with it!

I also complained about Stamps.com to this web site but I went one step further and contacted the US Postal Service. As an agent of the US Postal service they are licensed contractors. This privilege can be taken away from them. I went online to the US Postal service web site and found that you can complain about service. It took three emails back and forth with the Postal Service telling me to contact stamps.com customer service before it finally sunk in with them. Finally, the US Postal service liaison called stamps.com and just 10 minutes ago I got a call from stamps.com apologizing for there poor customer service! Seriously. They really apologized and said they are working on their problems about customer service. So I urge everyone that has complained about stamps.com to do the same thing I did and go on the US Postal Web Site (google it) and complain and don't stop complaining until you get a supervisor. It worked for me. As part of my story, I called their customer service three times and waited 10 minutes before hanging up, then 12 minutes , then 14 minutes before I got the rep on the phone. I decided the last time to wait until they answered no matter how long it took. Retired CPA
