This is in response to the rebuttal from the employee of Starr's Cars & Trucks. The reason that all the companies that I contacted dropped everything is because the owner of the company TOTALLY refused to make the situation right. I instead of pushing it any further dropped it. I put in approximately $1200.00 dollars to fix the stereo, replace the tires and replace the rotors and brakes. The amount left on my loan is $9600.00 and I recently found the car is only worth $5000.00. By the way, you need to go around to different companies and/or people and talk to them about Starr's Cars & Trucks, Inc. Alot of people have told me that they wished they would have known where I was purchasing the car and they could have warned me. The reputation of the company is not good. I hope people are reading this so you can never do this to anyone else. Thank You very much!

I am an employee of Starr's Cars & Trucks Inc, and the following is in response to Mr. B's claims and complaints regarding Starr's Cars. Originally I was going to make this an official rebuttal from the company itself, but the more I started to think about this mans behavior regarding his transaction with Starr's Cars the more I felt the need to respond not only as a representative of the company but also as a consumer who has spent the last twelve years working in the auto industry frustrated with people who in this day and age blame their own lack of experience and education on everyone else. The auto industry has taken a huge hit over the past ten years due to the booming information age. We now have the ability to go online and find out just about everything we need or want to know about purchasing a vehicle. Starr's Cars encourages its customers to be informed buyers and allows them every opportunity to test drive and inspect our vehicles. Mr. B was allowed these same opportunities and signed numerous forms regarding the conditions of the sale. Contrary to his claims that our paperwork only protects the dealership, Mr. B would know, had he read them, that the forms protect him just as much, if not more than the dealership. I am not going to address each of Mr. B's complaints individually because we have already done this numerous times with the numerous agencies he has complained to. It's rather ironic, but Mr. B has done more legwork after the sale than he did before it. He has complained and made false claims to every agency he can find, from local news stations, to online resources such as Ripoffreport.com, as well as the Better Business Bureau, all to no avail. After receiving our responses to his complaints along with copies of the paperwork Mr. B signed when he purchased the vehicle, all of the agencies have either dismissed his complaint or being satisfied that no injustice had occurred, they dropped any further investigations into this matter. Starr's Cars has been in business for over ten years and in that time has developed a good reputation with our customers. Much of our business is through repeat customers or referrals. We try to work with our customers to make them happy, but there are some people no matter how hard you try, you just can't please.

It is rare for a three year old Cavalier to have 14,000 miles. Have you checked Carfax? You can do so on line and you may find that someone tampered with the odometer.
