After reading many of the postings about Starscapes, I thought I would throw in my two cents and offer some food for thought about investing in this or any other work at home or small business venture.
First of all, I want to state right here that I am not affilitated in any way with Starscapes. I have read about it, did a little research and decided it was not for me. This does not mean that I think it is a scam or rip-off nor does it mean that I endorse this company. All I am saying is that based on what I have read about it, it is not something I am interested in investing in.
Some people have written that this company is a scam and charges too much for what it offers. Others have not been happy or satisfied with what they have received or have been unhappy about the information about the product or lack thereof (eg. trade secrets) Others are happy and satisfied with Starscapes and are doing well with it.
To those of you who have posted negative comments, all I can say is that before investing in this or any business (whether the investment is $40 or $4000), it is up to you to be completely sure that this is what you want and that you are confident that all your questions/concerns are answered.
Anyone can start a business and charge whatever they want for their products and services. Just because something may seem high priced does not make it a rip-off or a scam. Some of you have ordered the product and have said that what you have received is not worth more than $100. At that point, it is up to you to either send it back for a refund or to make a go of it and see if it brings you the income you desire.
I would also state here that if my first impression of what I have received from the company is not worth the money I invested, I would do a little more research and ask a LOT of questions before opening up the product to make absolutely certain this is something I would like to commit myself to. Otherwise, I would just send back the product and ask for a refund.
I noticed that when I was researching Starscapes, there was a phone number that I could call to find out more information (ie. 480-615-7646). Ask questions and most important of all, listen to what it being said to you. If something does not sound right or if you don't understand something, make sure it gets clarified before hanging up the phone. If it still doesn't sound right or if you feel at that point it is not something you want to do, you are free to hang up and find something else.
I understand that there are a lot of companies out there who make outrageous claims and outright lie to get your money. That's why it is in your best interests to make sure that this is something you want to invest your hard earned money into. If you have even the slightest doubt, walk away from it and look for something else.
Before investing, talk to friends and relatives and pitch the idea to them. Get feedback from them or even go online to find others who are doing this work or work similar to it. If you contact others with an open mind and do not come across as 'hostile', you will get the answers you need in order to make an informed decision.
If after researching Starscapes or any other company, you feel this is something you want to do, wait a week or so just to make sure the idea still appeals to you and that you are 100% certain this is what you want to do and are able to do - financially, timewise and healthwise.
I don't mean to sound like I am preaching. It's just that after reading so many posts and hearing about the disappointments or dissatisfaction and also the name calling, I thought a little reminder would help. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and if there is a genuine concern, it is great that people will take the time to alert others so that they can also make informed decisions. We all have families and ourselves to support but we can help each other by posting helpful information and not just hostile comments/letters.
All the best and good luck to everyone,
