At first I thought I was going to have to contact an attorney but I have decided to read through a bunch of these postings and what others have done to attempt to cancel their lease. The first thing I did was went to my bank, let them know the story and canceled my account. This was not such a pain for me because I did not give A-1 access to my main checking account. Then I sent back the laptop back to A-1 with a letter telling them my relationship with them is now canceled, I will not accept the laptop back, and I don't wish to do business with scam artists. Never heard anything back but my bank did say that they tried to take out my monthly payment begining of Sept. So I am sure I am on the way to their collections dept. I also contacted all credit bureaus and they have a watch on my credit report in case A-1 tries to screw that up. I also wrote a letter to my states consummer protection agency and they are investigating Startup and A-1. I even filed a report with the FBI Internet Fraud Dept. in Texas and I just got a message from a dective today and am waiting for him to return my call. Hopefully all these steps will help to get rid of A-1. The more people that do this the easier it will be for A-1 suffer some consequenses. Good luck to all in this fight!!

I have now contacted a lawyer and waiting for him to call me back. Will let everyone know how it goes. Thanks for bing here
