Hi Everyone....

I too am seeing the light about Startup Essentials... I have spent a year going through the journey, building my website and following their plan.. But things went very wrong about the time I got my merchant account 3 months ago..

First I thought I had to pay $20 if I didn't have sales to be processed so I was totally shocked when they withdrew a total of $80 from my account for merchant services. Then support just disappeared... all of a sudden phone support changed and you can't get a real person. Live conference calls stopped and were switched to podcasts which as of today I can;t see where any new ones have been added since May.

The last week of August I started emailing support to see what type of response I could get from them and I did get a response right away but it was to let me know the ways I could contact support... ( all automated or through voice mail ) and it was unsigned.. When I questioned why it wasn;t signed they said they are changing the way they are providing support. The same day my daily spark stopped which is a motivational email they send out each day.

Since they are now drawing out $250 a month frrom my account I cannot get any support from a live person. I am sent to all automated services and systems.

Along the journey they have positioned "Business partners" to " help you" like OptiGroove who tells you that you need their services for $2500 a pop. I asked if I could do it myself and was told I could and I was sent to a website called WebCEO where I purchased their $149.00 package that would teach me supposedly what OptiGroove needed $2500 to do for me.. I am still muddling through. I guess I will learn it one day.

It is starting to appear that I too am being scammed..

When I started this a year ago they led me to believe I had won a position in which they only accepted 20- 30 out of every 1000 applications. Everyone was very friendly and I had people calling me constantly to ask if there was anything they could do to help me. They appeared to be on top of things and I felt like I had made a good choice.

I had been told that they were going to spend their money upfront to train me to become a successful web entreprenuer so that they could make money from the credit card transactions that were made on my website. They appeared to have a good training program. But midway through the program their program changed and they suggested that I switch to the new program, so I did. So one year after I joined Startup Essentials I had a well built functional website.

There were many holes in the journey where I got lost due to poor planning on their part. Now that I have the website and I am not working with their business partner I do not have any support or anyone to help me figure out how to best market my site. I seem to be on my own. All support systems have appeared to be pulled.

I would very much like to join the Class Action Law Suit against these people.. They have not only a couple thousand of my dollars but a year of my life. I would love to hear from others with similar experiences,
