Startup Essentials ripoff of non-canceable 48 month lease in which was frauded into Dallas Texas
I was contacted several months ago by Startup Essentials in Texas about an internet business opportunity. Well this woman named Brenda called me several times in one day and finally I listened one night. She told me about building my own website and selling my own merchandise. Well instead of giving me time to think about it and get more information, I was frauded into signing a non-canceable 48 month lease online from a company called A-1 Leasing in Michigan for a piece of equipment I did not need or will never need.
I think this is a bad ripoff to do people like this. People work paycheck to paycheck to make a living and these companies are out to get people. Every time I would call Startup Essentials about help, they would act as if nobody knew what they were talking about.
I closed my bank accounts, sent letters to the credit bureaus, and letters to the BBB's of Texas and Michigan. If anyone out there that can help me with my situation, I would surely appreciate it a lot. I just want people to beware of these companies and not get frauded by them.
