I was at Home Depot today in Austin purchasing plumbing materials. I was approached by a salesman wearing a Home Depot shirt soliciting 2 day bathroom remodeling. After a short conversation and refusing the offer of a $500 coupon for credit on a remodel if I would allow them to "give an estimate", I departed. Upon researching Statewide Remodeling I discovered they are NOT LICENSED IN TEXAS TO PERFORM PLUMBING I chose this path to hopefully warn comsumers of this company. CONSUMERS BEWARE, STATEWIDE REMODELING IS NOT LICENSED TO PERFORM ANY PLUMBING SERVICES!!!!!!

Mr. Kroeger,
I wanted to respond to your false accusations against my company in reference to how we do business. Every job we do is done by a sub-contracted licensed plumber, who pulls the permit on the jobs and does the work contracted with the customer. All of them are background checked by Home Depot and Statewide Remodeling, and any required plumbing permits are under their license. The only plumbing services we offer are on jobs we contract to do a bath or kitchen remodel on, we do not offer seperate plumbing services done by any of our employees. Statewide Remodeling is not requited to have a plumbing license unless it is done by one of our employees, but again, this is all done by licensed contractors.
I am sorrry that you may have had a bad experience with one of our representatives in the store, but that is not a reason to maliciously attack my company with false accusations.
