For 8 years Stellar Title formerly Metro Title and Alpine Mortgage have been flying under the radar screen and ripping consumers off to the tune of several millions of dollars. Three or four years ago the company was fined by the banking department. They purportedly used "trust money" public funds to pay their fines. The banking department for the state has done nothing and says they have them under control. Yeah right. Then why do they keep ripping consumers off.

Why do they still benefit millions of dollars on title insurance premiums that they continue to over charge consumers for and their underwriters look the other way too. Why is no one doing anything about them? Why are they allowed to keep operating and ripping off consumers. There was a website called alpinelendings*cks and for some reason it's gone. On that site they showed hundreds of people complaining about the company. Everyone is afraid of them because they threaten your life. The owners need to be stopped and need to pay for everything they've ever done to everyone!

Concerned cause I am!

Alpine out of control!

I, too , am familiar with the www.alpinelendings*cks.com website. I was friends with the person that started that site, and from my understanding, the owner of Alpine paid her to remove her site from the net. It's my understanding that the company continually searches for "bad" information about themselves, and then procedes to have it removed. The sad part: It's all true, and then some! I personally know the CEO/President of the company, and his Senior VP. To sum it all up, it's all about the money, and customer service means nothing!!! I left that company because I had problems sleeping at night after what they had us do to customers! If anything falls under the new predatory lending laws, it's them! Lot's of "bait and switch" at the closing table. Their affiliate title companies, all under different names depending on the state in which they operate, charge anywhere from 3 to 4 times what they charge their outside customers. When I left the company, I had one of their outside title reps contact me for business, and the rates were about a third of what they made us (current loan officers working for Alpine) charge our customers! If you so much as made a ripple while working there, you were gone; end of story. They have a "mini" training program for people to get licensed as a loan officer. Most of these people come from some sales background, but most from the retail sales side of things. Rarely is there a loan officer with ANY sort of financial background. Everything with Alpine is scripted, from the initial contact with the customer in the waiting room, to the walk down the hallway, to every word said in the appointment. Most of the time the customer was lied to by their telemarketing staff, and the loan officer was left with a p*ssed off client in their office. I can't even remember how many times I followed a prospective client down the hallway while they screamed at the top of their voices about what a scam "this place" was. I've even witnessed angry customers address people in the waiting room, warning them to leave now, that "this place" was a scam, or a joke! How professional does this all sound to you out there? I can't tell you how bad I felt for those people, taking time out of their busy days, time away from their families, only to show up for an appointment and then find out they were totally lied to, just to get them in the door and in front of a loan officer. We actually got yelled at for not submitting those loans!!!! Seriously, I could go on for hours about this company and it's practices. I only wish there was something that I could do to help those out there that have had to deal with them. I'm now self employed with my own mortgage business, and customer service is my first focus. I sleep at night again. My clients are referring people to me left, and right. Life is good. When you take care of the customer, they'll take care of you. Alpine could be so successful if they only realized that. PLEASE, if there is anyway that I can give my information out to those looking to prosecute, or sue, I would love to help. God bless all of you who read this, and if you've been a previous client of Alpine's, I'm sorry...
