Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

The documented fact (below) that I returned the Stephenson Warmlite sleeping bag -- with no promise of a credit or refund -- expresses my opinion of the sleeping bag.  I paid half a month's Social Security check on what I believed was the best.  No!  I would not recommend this product to a friend.

Subject: Problems with sleeping bag
Hi Jane
I took the sleeping bag camping last week.  I have to admit to some difficulty with it.
The two most troublesome were: the two down filled panels are too narrow to cover my body ( My choice of Girth was based on the chart on your web site);  compounding that problem, the zippers rapidly slide open with just the slightest movement of the bag when handling it;  same problem when in the bag, with the slightest body shift.
What are your recommended solutions for those problems?

:Hello Alfred,
It sounds like you have chosen the wrong girth size or you aren't zipping it correctly.
Thanks,
Jane

Hi Jane
I'm going to return your sleeping bag after the Christmas package shipment rush.  I haven't found a satisfactory solution for the difficulty I have with the maze of undersized, flimsy zippers [as found on women's fashion] that don't lock.  The zippers unzip when I just pick the sleeping bag up. The several thumbnail size Velcro fasteners do nothing but come undone, as well.  I thought of using safety pins to hold the zippers closed, but that shouldn't be necessary for a sleeping bag I paid over $700 for.
What is your return policy.
Alfred

Hello Alfred,
The return policy is that you have 30 days to return it unused for a full refund.
Sorry it doesn't work for you.

Hello Alfred,
I received the sleepingbag today but I'm not sure what you want me to do to it.  I can't make it any bigger so that it fits you right and I can't change the zippers for you.  What were your thoughts about it.
Jane
