Complaint Review: STEVE ERNST SPOT FOCUS BIC PHO YB COLLECTIVE SOCIAL VALLEY LLC SOCIAL VALLEY FORUM - Internet Internet

Our group was hired by Steve Ernst of Spot Focus and Bic Pho of YB Collective to use our contacts to secure talent and to write a conference that was going to be held September 11-13 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara CA. And Great America at their concert hall. We went into contract with them and in early February 2012. We wrote the conference Social World Bringing Hollywood to the Silicon Valley. Not only did we fulfill in the writing of the conference, developing the theme and writing the conference tracks we also book all of the music talent that was going to perform at Great America on September 12th and 13th. We book Lupe Fiasco, Jordin Sparks, Melanie Fiona and DJ Polly D. After forcing their hand they paid the first artist Lupe Fiasco 50% of the money for him to perform. But when it came time to pay the others Mr. Bic Pho said that he had no money and that we should raise the money. Bic Pho represented as well as Steve Ernst that they had the money for both the conference and the concert an they promised that there wouldn't be any issues. No only did they lie and misrepresent the real situation but they have be devious in trying to come up with a story that will cover themselves. Not surprising once we found out that late last year Mr. Bic Pho was charged with Fraud and he had his California Real Estate License revoked and all of his offices were closed. Had we known that Bic Pho had that type of history we would have never agreed to help with this project.

Another red flag was when we were invited to there offices that are in a Medical Marijuana that Mr. Bic Pho owns and operates. In there offices there are loose drugs everywhere, on the stair case, in the bathroom. We thought you were supposed to have a medial marijuana card but that's not the case at YB Collective in San Jose Ca. When we brought up these issues with Mr. Steve Ernst he said that he stands by his best friend Mr. Bic Pho! To help with our concern he took Mr. Bic Pho's name of the Social Valley LLC and put himself on there. We thought this was odd since he told us he stood by him. We also noticed that they changed the address of the Social Valley LLC to the Santa Clara Convention Center. I wonder if they know that there address is being used? In speaking with others that were hired to work on the conference we found out they both Mr. Steve Ernst and Mr. Bic Pho have refused to pay them or made up excuses as to why they can't pay. They expect people to work for free. We did our best to fix the situation and come to some sort of resolution but both Mr. Steve Ernst and Mr. Bic Pho say that they made sure that our contracts are week and they won't hold up in court with is Fraud and intent to Defraud. To date they owe us over $100k and other over $50K.

 They represented that they had the venue Great America paid for, but in our investigation we found out that isn't true which again is misrepresentation. They also represented that they had hired help to work on vendor sales but the truth is Mr. Steve Ernst has access to list of vendors that he is supposed to keep to himself, but instead he is using the lists that he get's from his company Spot Focus to self benefit. He has distributed the list from CES one of the biggest shows in the world and from NAM another large show to his sales guy James. Steve Ernst has access to this privileged information because he owns Spot Focus who owns and operates the digital screens in many of the convention centers across the Country. What he is doing to self benefit is not only unethical but against his contract, but both Mr. Steve Ernst and Mr. Bic Pho have no care in the world when it comes to contracts, and they both have proved that. Mr. Pho is the only one who has been caught to date but his counterpart Mr. Ernst isn't far behind him. We all have filed formal law suites against Mr. Steve Ernst, Spot Focus, Mr. Bic Pho, YB Collective, Social Valley LLC. Social Valley LLC, Social World 2012 or there new name Social World Forum for FRAUD MISREPRESENTATION and the intent to DEFRAUD. They are a SCAM! HOLLYWOOD, Silicon Valley stay away from these guys, they are the most unethical people that we've ever encountered. They operate out of a drug facility and they are liars and Mr. Pho has already been charged with Fraud in his previous business, no surprise there.
