Steve Tanger security problems Bluffton South Carolina
An outlet store in Tanger Outlet in SC was robbed and several of the stores were vicims of shoplifting. Mr Tanger response to this crime wave is to use his power to have a Beaufort Police agency assign officers inside this private enterprise. Security in that mall is Tanger's responsibility. He is getting a police officer who I am paying with my taxes. A uniform officer inside the mall is a cosmetic placebo but it can expose Beaufort county to litigation and civil liability. This is lunacy. Its a makes far more sense for Tanger to install security cameras and silent alarms with plain clothes private security patrolling the areas being hit with crimes
