Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Just yesterday I went to introduce Stitches Warehouse at Orfus Road to a friend from out of town, when I went in from the back door I had my ice-cream in my hand, i looked at the door to see if food was allowed or not since there was no sign on the door i went in with the ice-cream, few seconds later when we were about to plan the store a loud noise saying EXCUSE ME! EXCUSE ME! EXCUSE ME! from the background, we looked and it was for us NO FOOD INSIDE THE STORE, and she was pointing her index finger back and forth like you usually do it to kids NO! NO! NO! with a BIG NO on the face too. It was ridiculous and rude, i felt i was stealing something from the store and everybody around her and me looked at the situation, i got soooo embarrassed and ashamed by the BIT****'s behavior, I came close and told her YOU COULD BE A LITTLE NICE! I really got mad, my friend said lets get out of this store we dont need to shop here.

After i finished my ice-cream I came back in and looked for her, i saw her behaving rude to a staff, and told her YOU SHOULD HAVE A SIGN ON THE DOOR she said she does on the front door (i doubt it) and said that was the back door i entered, well if that was the back door people still enters through there, there should be a sign there too or NO EXIT sign. I added YOU SHOULD KEEP YOUR VOICE LOW, she is like THANK YOU! The manager/owner whoever she was, she was MUSLIM as she had her scarf on the head, i am a Muslim too, but she was way beyond a customer service policy, she doesn't deserve to be in that place where high customer service is required. She should have approached me more sensibly MAM! YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE YOUR FOOD OUTSIDE ITS NOT ALLOWED IN THE STORE. I would have said SORRY and obviously i felt NO OFFENSE. I will take this issue as far as i can, this is outrageous this must should STOP. Do you think I will talk good about stitches in this life, I will go out there and tell 10 people and that 10 people will go and tell more. This is how owners loose business, they take it for granted that will always be in business, people need them. Well, its true as long as there will be humans in this planet there will be clothes made for them but not necessarily from STITCHES.

You just were embarrassed because she had to tell you something you should have already known.  I can't imagine taking some messy ice cream into a store, let alone a clothing store.

You seemed to mostly be upset with the way she said it.  I'd say you are pretty thin skinned and I doubt seriously if their business will suffer when people hear the real story. They will probably thank them so they won't be buying clothes with ice cream all over them.

Give me a break!

I hardly think this is a rip-off.  Frankly, if I was the mgr. or clerk I would be angry too.  Who really needs a sign on the door that says "food/drinks prohibited".  She possibly could have handled it better, but was probably agast thinking your ice cream was possbibly going to land on some of her new fall collection.  Pardon the pun, but would she have to eat of the cost for the mess or you?
