Sun Home Community 27777 Franklin Road, Suite #200 Southfield, MI 48034 Thursday, September 05, 2013 . I was going to file a BBB complaint because Stonebridge Mobile Home Park closed the community swimming pool while it is still hot … 90 degrees and above. This is one of the benefits in the advertisement…having a community swimming pool. . . I called the health dept at 210.207.8930, or 210.207.0135 and learned the truth. They ordered the pool closed because the mildew and something about the pump or motor not circulating the waters enough. . So, I am filing the following complaint with the BBB. . This complaint is against: Stonebridge Mobile Home Park 11555 W. FM 471 San Antonio TX 78253 via the corporate office Sun Home Community 27777 Franklin Road, Suite #200 Southfield, MI 48034 Matter of Complaint: Bottom line is if I was told the truth; in that, the pool closed we need to remove the mildew, fix or repair the pump or motor so that the pool waters will circulate like it should, resurface the pool and fix the cracks. I would not have had a complaint. Being truthful creates trust and creditability; however not telling the whole truth or hiding the truth creates NO TRUST AND NO CREDITABILITY. The Community Pool in the Stonebridge mobile Home park located at 11555 W. FM 471 was scheduled to close on or about September 15, 2013. Because of Labor Day Holiday the pool was closed one day, On Tuesday September 3, 2013 the community pool was closed for routine weekly cleaning. On Wednesday September 4, 2013 the Health dept. checked the pool regarding complaints of mildew and poor or no circulation in the morning and immediately ordered the pool closed. . Later in the afternoon, on September 4, 2013, I telephoned the office to find out if the pool was open. I was told it is closed for the year. . I asked: why the pool was closed suddenly, without prior notice to all residents, and before the scheduled date? I was told the residents have been informed; this is true it was posted today. Then I was told: the pool needs to be resurfaced or emptied and cleaned. Da… The pump or motor, has been breaking down for months….It is logical and reasonable to believe the pool monitor and pool caretakers knew about the lack of proper circulation of the pool water and informed their boss. Then I was told Corporate is aware the pool is closed. I am sure as soon as the pool was closed by the health depts. order today also today the corporate was notified of Health depts. directions. These responses are disingenuous and me a false impression that the “sudden closing of the pool” was routine. The sign posted states: “… Now that the school year has begun, the pool will be closed for the season….” This communicates that the pool is open for the school age children; thus, it is not open when the weather temperatures 90 degrees for the residents, seniors’ residents, adults or for the weekend when the school ages children are not in school. . They might have posted: Sorry we had to close the pool early this season because the pool pump or motor is not working properly. We are in the process of removing the mildew and fixing or replacing the pump/motor so it provides the proper water circulation in the pool. This would have been truthful and honest; and I would not have had a complaint. I believe they are hiding the facts; it makes me wonder what other facts they are not telling me.

Because closing the pool for the safety of the children is a far better reason. If they put in that they need to repair it people would still attempt to use it even knowing it was broken. Thereby putting your park at risk because of a individuals self entitlment. Its easier for a community to accept that the safety of children is the reason and not that the pool needs work. You say it needs work and the next jackass who doesnt care hops in and gets sick and its everyone at the park who has to pay thier medical bills. Sometimes "Public Relations" means YOU DONT NEED TO KNOW!!!! But sure go ahead and post on a ripoff site that your pool was closed, just goes to show that you are also a self entitled a*s. Are you going to stomp your feet and hold your breath too??

This is a site for people with REAL problems, REAL ripoffs. Not your personal blog about how the mean managment shut the pool down for repairs and didnt tell you directly and divulge EVERY bit of information directly to you.
