Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I can believe all the complaints that i have just read on Stores Online that these people are still in business. I could pass each and every story off as my own. I am still trying to get them to cancel my contract and they are still refusing. I am in Melbourne Australia and im looking for people to help me make sure they never return to Melbourne or Australia ever again. I will be finding out when they plan to attend next and be handing out fliers at the initial seminar and turning up with A Current Affair or Today Tonight at the workshop.

If we cant shut them down all together, let us at least slow them down. I would urge people in the USA to do the same. C'mon guys we work hard for our money. What right do they have to take it away.

stores online ....is it worth to spend your time. I had a big bad feeling about it but their motivational speakers were a great liars

. Hello About a month ago the storesonlines people were here in Tulsa Oklahoma and had their seminar and workshop the next week. I had a big bad feeling about it but their motivational speakers were a great liars. I was reading through their booklets and merchant's services and the stuff the explained is completely opposite of what they have described in there seminar. They promised that they will make your web site on the top of the list and they said that using the per click is not necessary, but this is not what they have described, I tried to order the help DVD about three weeks ago but I didn't get it yet. One of their representative, his name is Garth, I asked him at the seminar about the refund policy but he didn't answer, and he said that the only case that you would not get your money back is when you activate your web sites. It was a complete lie. What I really need help with is that I already have a products to sell online but I am afraid of wasting more time before I even start, if anyone have already activated his or her websites through Storesonline would you please tell me what kind of experience did you have, I am already frustrated about this deal but I didn't give up. I know that making an online business require a special time and hard work to set up but also a combination of great web hosting and designing, otherwise I could have paid my friend to host it for free but I was looking for the help and the service. please if you have any advise or any info to get my money back, I will appreciated Have a good day.

Yes, I would need help to be out from it. It was under his name and I have emailed them and talked to several people but they would say they cannot do anything but a contract is a contract. Even if you are not happy and satisfied and after knowing about the rip-off report don't I have the right to get out from it. Now i have learned my lesson that before I joined anything or commit to anything I have to check here on rip-off report and so sad that I did not. Please someone help me.

If you'll go to any Stocks Quote Site, you can find a list of their investors and other pertainent information. The Exchange that handles them is AMEX (American Stock Exchange). Start telling their investors about the way they cheat people and scam them out of their money. Also, send a letter to the corporate headquarters of Bank One. They just took out a five million dollar line of credit with this bank. The think I am trying to get across here, is to contact as many people as you can and tell them the gory facts of your nightmares. Since I got back way less than I spent with them, I am armed to the teeth with vengence and have gone undercover with my efforts. Everyone is right. This company needs to be brought down and brought down hard. I can't speak publically but am willing to be a witness. That is the only legal way I can be free to state my side of things. Through a court order. And I am so willing to help in anyway I can. It is an inspired idea going to the seminars and protesting there. Just make sure to get permission and/or a permit to do so from the city governments. I support that. The seminars are equal to the head of the snake. And to kill a snake you need to cut its ugly head off. Good luck and God's Speed to you all.

Rosemarie, I've read your concerns and contacted a customer service rep at StoresOnline and they are willing to assist you. I'm not with StoresOnline and am not endorsing them. I attended the 90min workshop, then researched the company StoresOnline and did not attend the seminar. Though the many comments against StoresOnLine was a red flag for me and I chose to continue the research process on this company. I am an Internet professional and found some of the information StoreOnLine had to offer was info that 1) I've already done myself or 2) I can easily locate myself for 'free'. Anywho, I forwarded your complaint to the CS of SToresOnLine and the reply I got back was, "They could not locate a 'Request to Cancell' from any one in Dana Point or by the name Rosemarie. Is the account in your husbands name and/or registered in another city? Let us know. HiTekMom in NC

I attended the storesonline seminar in Newport Beach with my brother instead of my husband who were suppose to be the right person to be there. They did not even check the person whether they are the real person. Anyway, after the seminar, they run all our credits knowing that my credit is that bad they took my husband's credit and convinced me to purchased 6 websites. They did not explained that there was no refund or that there were 3 days to cancell they just let you sign without furhter explaining and with all the excitements as they have presented you won't even have time to read. Also, I told the representative that my husband is not there to sign so he just said it is alright that he will pretend that he did not see that. He promised that everything will be alright and it will help me make good money. After i have gone home my husband got mad and wanted me to cancell the contract and he wants to dispute that it wasn't his signature. All of this ended up we were leading to a separation. I called storesonline and and even went to their chat begging to help me just cancell the contract and that I've made a mistake because my husband told me that it was a ripp off. They have no compassion on this and they claim that it is not their problem. A contract is a contract and there is no refund. I did not realize that this company does not care that if you are not happy and not satisfied sorry for you. No guarantee they just want your money. My husband and I are now separated and I am trying to pay the monthly payment to their Financial institute Duvera so just then not to affect my husband's credit. But I have no choice right now but to let go of this after hearing more complaints. I was hoping it can help me to make more money as they insisted even if I get separated. I will file a report with FBI and also my husband is hiring an attorney to dispute for it is not his signature and that they allowed this without them checking on him and misleading me that it is alright to sign in his behalf, because the price will not be the same again and this is my only chance. Please hlep me to cancell this contract I am just trying to meet my needs at this time now that I am separated, jobless and very depressed and confused.

Shemonika, thank you for your comments. Though I will include them with all other complaints, I do not see it to be tangible evidence. Before I present a company to be a "rip-off" or a "scam company" I need legal evidence, which I'm currently working with the Attorney General's office in Utah to obtain any legal complaints filed against this company. My main goal is to inform fellow North Carolians to check out "ANY" company they do business with before committing financially. If you filed with the named states you mentioned in your earlier rebuttal and have copies of your actual complaints, pls respond to this msg [DELETED] [Place your comments below and be sure to include your FULL contact information so Rip-off Report can contact you.]

To Monica and Jason, info presented at the workshops can be found in any books about the internet

The info presented at the workshops can be found in any books about the internet also my boyfriend mentioned that you could get a decent website for $50 per month and that includes the hosting/maintenance fees. Again, this is not a top-of-the-line website company, but it beats paying Storesonline a lot for a medicore product. When I get the name of the company, I will post it on here before the 13th so that Monica can tell others that you can get it done for less.

Concrete Evidence, They use a quality product and customer service, again these were all lies.

#20Consumer Comment

Mon, August 02, 2004

To address Monica from North Carolina's question, at the seminar, they told us how "user-friendly", actually the cd and storefronts were warped. Storesonline will not give your money back, no matter what their policy states. They have a three-day cancellation, guess what they are not honoring it. They use a quality product and customer service, again these were lies. I was constantly on hold at their long-distance number for 15-35 minutes each time plus customer service was not very knowledgeable about anything. At the seminar, they mentioned optional coaching. What they do not mention was the coaching will run $5-15K (a ripoff indeed). I had several people try to help me with the storefronts, but they told me the product is of inferior quality. I do not know if that is concrete enough for you. I believe most of the complaints are about their refund policy, an inferior product, and poor service all around. If you are asking people to spend between $2-6K on anything, they demand a d**n good product and a knowledgeable staff. The worst part is when their coaching staff (PMI) calls you, they will give a line that goes like this, "We want a success story in your area so we want you to be on their "success team". For the additional $5-15K plus what you paid at the seminar, they will help you. I refused their services, if you print this out, they will think twice. It has been a struggle getting my money back from them. Right now, I am talking to my attorney and filing complaints with Utah, Illinois, and California (where their CEO lives and has an office).

Attended StoresOnline 90min seminar, "BEFORE" I read all of the complaints

#21Consumer Comment

Sat, July 31, 2004

I generally research companies before I spend time and money, but I didn't have the company 'StoresOnline, Inc.' until I attended the 90min presentation. Though I knew quite quickly that at any type of "high pressure sales" I stay clear of. As a professional in the Internet business I knew I could do much of what they had to offer, but I'm always looking for new information (because I don't know everything). I paid the $30.00 to attend the workshop coming up in my area 8/13 & 8/14/04 knowing that since the workshop was "FREE" I would attend and get the information. I didn't like how the speaker stressed, "bring your credit cards, check or cash to this workshop and be prepare to accept what they had to offer". Dingggg a red flag (one of many) to me. The next day after the 90min seminar, I came to Ripoffreport.com (as I ususally do) to check out StoresOnline and low-and-behold there way over 50 complaints against this company. On that note, I cancelled my $30.00 check (which ultimately will end up costing me $2.00 because my back charged $32.00 to stop payment). Nether-the-less I was not letting SToresOnline get my money. I still would like to see more concrete evidence of StoreOnline being a Scam/rip-off company. Because What I'm considering doing is to print the 50+ complaints and pass them out at the upcoming 2 workshops in my area. Any concrete evidence would be appreciated. Thx much

Hi, I am still talking with my attorney now, but I urge everyone to file with the Attorney Generals in your home states as well in the State of Utah where the headquarters is, but you can also file in California too because they have an office there. Also, file a complaint with the cybercrime unit in Utah, they are investigating Storesonline right now because I asked for update. I will warn you now that hundreds of people have complaints against Storesonline dating back to the 1990s so this will take awhile. Also, file with the FTC. They will stopped one day soon because they have pissed too many consumers.

Jason, I have with the Attorney Generals in Utah, my home state of Illinois, and where their CEO lives in California. I believe that I will prevail because I have 3 states investigating Storesonline. I even hired an attorney and she says that what they are dealing is illegal if they are not providing what's stated in the contract. I might ask for compensation since I have dealing with them since February.
