Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I was one of many that attended Regina. I knew from the start they were preying on the innocent that knew nothing about the internet. Robert (the one who told the story about the sick baby) even addmitted that they were aware of many people who didn't even know what a domain was. I never bit the sell but I feel sorry for somewho did. If you paid by credit card, call your credit card company and cancel your credit card, and get another one. (didn't you drop it somewhere downtown and loose it?)

I am a web designer and tech business person and I tried telling a coupleof people not to do it,don't sign but they don't listen. There was a young couple sitting next to us and she told me she was a single mother of 3 children and couldn't afford it but an hour later she was writing post dated cheques. If anyone knows where these guys are headed please send me an email. I would like to contact a local paper to their next stop. Deb T Deb [email protected] Weyburn, Saskatchewan

Beware StoresOnline--Ripoff Scam

#2Consumer Comment

Tue, October 05, 2004

I attended a free seminar for StoresOnline. Hundreds of people attended the event here in Anaheim, California. There was another seminar called Financial Super Stars that preceded StoresOnline. My report is found under Search/Financial Super Stars. These scams operate under changing names, but use the same dishonest tactics. They have their business offices located in Utah. The presentation was a slick demo of how easy it was to make big money in a short span of time, at home on the computer. No knowledge or experience was necessary. Just sign the contract and put the money up front. About $4000. for a package! Next the material provided will be a lot of information that could have been found on the internet for free. Sad experiences will follow in trying to get a web site designed and working on the net. Then comes the attempt to contact for a refund or a return of materials. A waste of time and effort. The phone number will lead to a run-around of delaying efforts. Go directly to disputing the credit card charge. Next, report your financial loss to the ripoff report, not the BBB. Spread the word about these white-collar criminals. Tell your story to save some other person from being victimized. FIGHT BACK!
