Signed up for dialup service on 6/1/03. Claimed "unlimited access," but disconnected after every 4 hrs. When I emailed tech support about the disconnects they denied having them. I replied the disconnects were there and should be in their TOS and was going to report them to the FTC for false advertising. (They later modified their TOS to include the 4 hr. disconnects.)

On, or about, 6/13 they terminated my account without notice. When I called customer support about it was told because "we don't offer unlimited access," even though it states it right on their home page.

I then got an email from someone claiming to be a lawyer for straight2you, David Abetto. He claimed he had a "1250 pg. log" of all my online activities, including email, IM chats, etc and accused me of "illegal file sharing." He said they had the "right" to fine me. A charge for $1250 then appeared on a Visa card!

Mr. Abetto said he would send the 1250 pg. log months ago, but has never arrived. Visa has been notified of the unauthorized charge. This is obviously intimidation and harassment by the slugs. It seems they don't understand the difference between honesty and fradulent! Stay away from these ripoffs!!

I ordered a dedicated connection. Supposedly to be on 24/7 (advertised as 1 call per month!). Yet I repeatedly got disconnected. When I cancelled, they claimed it was my hardware - total BS. Works fine with others. The log showed they disconnected. They are also billing after cancelling, and charged me for equipment they never sent.
