My husband and I attended Strayer only to find out after we graduated and after extensive questioning before we applied to the school, that they were a fraud.
Employers did not recognize them as a university and threw our resumes in the trash. We were denied interviews because of their fake reputation as a good college to attend with an outstanding program. We received more general coursework than studies in the subject area we wanted to specialize in.
Career Services made an appt with us to do our resumes. Then they told us at our appt to go away and never come back! They had no good explanation.
We are now pursuing Middle States as if they are the only accrediting body, Strayers degrees are worthless. Unless there is state accredition, the school regional accredition means nothing. Middle States knows this. We are trying to get their accredition pulled so they cease to exist and have dug up some pretty dirty laundry on them. Now we have to get our transcripts for a professional to look at. I am sure it will be determined that Strayer only offers the bare minimum for working people and not for people just first attending college. I was told with no work experience that I could get a job on their business degree. I was lied to. I am now doing childcare on a business admin degree!!
Avoid them like the plague. Oh, they will not give out back issues of their programs as they do not want anyone to see what they really are!
