In your rebuttal you state that StubDepot does not handle pricing and the pricing is set by the owner of the tickets. Yet in the paragraph prior, you clearly state that you noticed the price was too low and would not sell them at that price. If I owned the tickets and I set a price and I had someone willing to purchase my tickets, then I would be upset if you stepped in against your own policy to set the price for my tickets.
You can not have it both ways, you are clearly speaking out of both sides of your mouth. Now, I would love it if you would write a rebuttal against my complaint. I have all the text, emails and phone records to document my complaint. I was charged and I never received my tickets nor my money back and I was treated bad by JP who made it clear he did not care one bit about my situation and then Phil the owner made false claims. Stay far, far away from this company.

I have dealt with Phil and JP at stubdepot.com since 2006 I never had a problem. I googled stubdepot to buy tickets and was surprised to see this come up.
All I can say is I have bought tickets from Stubhub, Ebay, craigslist, and Phil and JP always help me if I find tickets cheaper they usually beat it. When I have found them cheaper and they could not beat it they explained why.
anyway I was surprised by the comments of this person. Sounds like he was trying to get something for less than he should have.

True, an order was placed online on June 27, 2011 for 2 tickets for the NHL Stanley Cup Finals: Boston Bruins vs. Vancouver Canucks Home Game 1 June 6, 2011. But, the request for tickets was rejected by Stubdepot on the same day and the client was personally contacted. His credit card was never charged.
The order was rejected because, based on our experience, we suspected that there was a pricing error. We knew that club tickets for an essentially sold out event would never be priced at $270/ticket. In fact the tickets were incorrectly priced by the original owner, a fact that took a few more days to determine.
As clearly stated in our general policy on our web page: We reserve the right to cancel an order and give a full refund at any time, for any reason whatsoever. Our role in the world of tickets is summed up in the first sentence that is read by every customer before checkout. It says: Stubdepot acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket brokers to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets and as such, is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and ticket brokers. So pricing is not determined by Stubdepot, but by the third party ticket owner. Stubdepot did not own the tickets.
