Suburban Express has sued over 100 of its passengers for what it calls "fradulent tickets" as well as other damages arising from acts such as "disruptive behavior". a ticket is labeled "fradulent" when it is accidently used on the wrong day (ie a return ticket is used), used at the wrong time, used for the wrong pick up location, etc. This results in the cost of a ticket, a $100 fine, court fees, and attorney fees. This can add over to over $200. Despite the ticket being, and I quote, "fradulent", the bus driver lets the student on the bus in an attempt to entrap a student.
Suburban Express also bans its riders, often. Anyone who writes a negative comment on Yelp gets banned. Although the unfiltered Yelp reviews show how terrible this company is, look at the filtered reviews:

The owner, Dennis Toeppen, has also purportedly taken to Reddit where he has attempted to harass and intimidate others who speak out about Suburban Express.

In this instance, a police report was even filed against him for throwing away a passengers property after he told her to come pick it up:

Despite having a high rating on the BBB, Suburban Express has received numerous complaints. Don't let this fool you.
