I signed on to this company in July 2009, as I heard through a friend who utilized their services how they can develop one's entrepreneurial skills.  Since entrepreneurship is something that I have attached myself to since I became divorced and have many expenses, I thought, "gee, I could surely use these services."  Since the premise of the company is, "A book is your business card" and I have a gift of writing, I thought I truly found a godsend...

HOWEVER,my joy was short lived.  Initially I found Mr. Grant very talented and creative and I purchased products and services such as attending seminars and media training by the best in the publishing and media industry.  To know the big names in the media and publishing field and to be able to pull strings to get clients spots on the radio and television really impressed me as an honor to be coached by Marc A. Grant.  Again, HOWEVER, things began to go terribly wrong.

By my 3rd year with this company, I began to notice lapses with the weekly teleconferences.  Since Mr. Grant was a stickler for time, who would cancel the call if the client was more than 5 minutes late, I found it rather inconsistent with his beliefs that he would stand up a client and not call, text, or email, or respond to calls, texts, or emails.  Indeed one time when I was running late and knew I may not be home on time, I left an urgent message on the company phone stating that I may be home by 6:15pm instead of 6pm and, would that time still be OK?

I did not get a reply, but when I called the teleconference number and the automated voice said, "there are 3 participants on the line.  Please announce yourself."  I did and then I realized it was a conference that was already in session as they were in prayer.  Mr. Grant often reaches out to clergy and one of his brands is the clergy authors institute.  I remained silent, and when the call was over, Mr. Grant got on the line with me and berated me for interrupting the call!!  I apologized and stated that I thought it was my turn to announce myself.  Keep in mind that I had the same day and time for teleconferences for nearly three years!!

I took his taciturn attitude and standups on the teleconference calls as well as one stand up in person on my job, when he was to meet with me to shoot a You tube video that things are not going well, and, G-d forbid, but I sank over $10G with that company's products and services, wrote my novel, sold 8 pre publication copies, and what if he doesn't hold his end of the agreement and publish my book??  Does that mean that I put out those years of effort, time and money for nothing??

Well, my worse fears were confirmed:  total silence.  I stopped my bank from debiting $250 per month.  I left messages,. never got a response, ever.  As a matter of fact in January 2012, before I stopped the auto debits, I went online to purchase a book by Susan R. Rabinowitz, who was a client of Mr. Grant the same time I was, and Paypal took my payment and I never received the book.  Now, I have since found out from a friend of Susan that Sue left the company because, (and this is just second hand info) "she did not think that things looked right with the company."

What is poignant about that experience is that Sue is a cancer survivor and I ordered her book for a friend who was dying of cancer, and I wanted to encourage her and her caregiver.  I never did receive the book and my friend passed away.  What is particularly egregious is that the websites are still up for former and current clients, the Paypal accounts are activated for all of them, and unsuspecting people may be ordering books by clients who have never had their work published, moved on, etc.    This fraud must cease!!

Sincerely
