I placed two orders in February 2012, one for black Dr Dre headphones and one for white Dr Dre headphones. SuddenValues took the funds up front($300 total in this case) and gave me a March ship date. The ship date kept getting moved out. So I started calling weekly as I was hoping to receive one pair for my child's birthday in May. I was usually told the headphones would ship by end of that particular week that I called in, but they never did. This went on for weeks.
Finally in the last week of April I received the black headphones. I did not receive the white headphones in time for my child's birthday in May so I had to go out and purchase headphones locally. I then called SuddenValues early May (which is now almost 3 months since placing the order) and told them since they can't fulfill the order for the white headphones I wanted my money back. I told them I had to buy a pair locally so I didn't even need the white headphones any longer. I was told they would process the refund, but they offered to send a pair of headphones since they were now available!!! I said I didn't need them any longer since I purchased locally after waiting for months. So I was told they would process a refund back to my credit card. I waited for weeks and nothing posted to my credit card account. So then I tried calling back again. I tried the Sales Department, Accounting Department, and Customer service, none of them answered their phones. I tried for days and left many messages. I sent emails to Suddenvalues, but would not get a response regarding this refund situation.
Finally last week I tried calling again, and a person answered the phone! I asked for status on my refund. I was told only the accounting department would know about it, and the representative couldn't help me. I told the Representative that the Accounting department never answers their phone. The Representative continued to say she couldn't help me. I finally gave up and told the Representative to just send me a pair of headphones, I didn't care if they were purple with pink polka dots. She laughed at that, so I assume she must hear frustration from customers regularly. I don't need another pair of headphones, but it was obvious that I either accepted another pair of headphones or kiss my $149.99 good-bye. This was a terrible experience. Now I know why they are rated as "F" by the BBB.
