i fell behind on my mortgage and needed help and was contacted by summit legal group who said they would help me with a loan modification for a fee. after giving them all my information and 3000 dollars nothing was ever done now my home is in foreclosure and im about to lose it.

My daughter was also a victim and there are many victims out there.
First things first.
Call you bank first and see what can be done. They probably never received any paperwork from Summit other than perhaps a notification of representation. Tell them that the only lawyer at Summit was William O'Toole and he received an emergency suspension from the Florida Bar on July 25 for causing great public harm. Have them send you the paperwork required to do a Loan Modification. This is form 1126 otherwise known as the Dodd Frank form.
Non-lawyers were posing as lawyers. The chief culprit is Randy Baker, although you may have had dealings with Solomon Macari, Aren Anderton, Cort Snow, or Elizabeth Baker.
Put in complaints at the following places, all accessible on the internet.
The US Attorney in your district.
The Florida Attorney General (you can contact either Carol DeGraffenreidt or Terry Crossen at their office in West Palm Beach.
The Florida Bar.
You are not alone. This site does not allow for email addresses and phone numbers. Got to another complaint website and give contact information. We are looking to proceed with a class action lawsuit with as many victims as possible. There are victims in at least eleven states, and the number is growing.
