Took my boat in for tune-up and bilge check, and install a depth guage that I bought elsewhere. took over 4 weeks. First got call that depth guage was efective when they hooke it up, went to pick it up (25 miles) got there it was still installed in boat? why if it dosnt work would you leave it in the dash??? Didnt want to wait for warranty replace so purchase another unit online, 105.00 on top of the 185.00 on the first unit. Dropped off,  4 days later call me its done. Goto pick it up , ask for old unit ? guy hands me new unit still in box and old unit is in boat... says we figured it out it was a wiring problem in the dash?? ( so if this unit was not in the boat to begin with how was that my problem? ) the person installing it prob hooked it up wrong. Asked then now what since the extra unit I bought cant be returned and it wasnt my fault they thought original was broken but it wasnt... Jeff tells me well thats what happens when you buy stuff on the internet, all after 1 have paid 532.00 to them. they coul have atleast gave me 50.00 credit for thir mistake. Then I get home and goto test unit,  low or hi alarm dosnt work,so look under dash, the unit is wired in boat wrong and  the alarm wire is just looped to itself? So if these guys are install pros how with the manufactures instructions right in the box do you still wire it wrong????????????? There last words to me were take your boat to someone else if you want to ....................... so I will do just that, and stop payment on my credit card for faulty install...................... these are a bunch of idiots running a boat shop that have no clue of customer service , Avoid this mess and business at all cost......................

I find it very hthat to understand how a business owner could let a customer take their boat home baying paying for repairs and installs and not one employee at Sun Country Marine NOT DOUBLE CHECK ANYTING to make SURE that all worIesha's been done correctly.

 

Who ever owns Sun Counrty Marine NEEDS A CHECK-UP from the NECK-UP  its a damm shame that a customer has to work so HARD to find a TRUSTING business to do business with. I am willing to bet that the owner of Sun Country Marine off a trusting employee will never respond to this report.

sooner or later this report will POP UP on the first page of google.
