I took out a loan with sunbelt credit years ago. I had no problems with the Company until I had trouble paying for the loan. My husband passed away, had two eye surgeries, house burned down, went legally blind, and had to stop driving and give up my job.

The Harassment was totally uncalled for and very unprofessional on their part!! They do go far further than any other creditor I have ever dealt with. Calls at work & home to the ridiculous point! Now even worse is that I am totally disabled, I paid for the Insurance on the loan they are still calling me.

I have had my doctor fill out so many of their ridiculous forms over and over. Worse yet they have been reporting me to the credit bureau while being paid by insurance. Since 10/03-to present. They are with out a doubt the worse Company I have ever dealt with.

I am really considering sueing them for unfair practices due to the whole insurance thing. They come after me month after month and the girl told me on the phone that the insurance company has been paying every three months, well that's not my fault and I should not be reported unfairly because they picked a bad insurance company.

They just call now and leave no message, say they are sending me their stupid form which never shows up. I really think I will go after them for a change. I do pay my bills, but bad things happen to good people. I always told them what was happening and I did get caught up before the disability came. I think I will contact 8 on your side to start with. Take it from me they are a bad company to work with.

Sunbelt Credit- Decided to give a second chance

Recently, I returned to Sunbelt to give them a second chance. I must say the the service is much better. Once the disability insurance was taken out of the picture. I believe now that it was a mis-communication problem between Sunbelt, insurance company and myself. I have a current loan with them and it has gone well.
