I am a concerned animal lover. The photo in this report is devasting! I tried to visit the Sunnyville Kennel web site & it is disabled. You can usually tell if a kennel is a Puppy Mill by the number of different kind of breeds they sell, predigrees & health guarantees offered. Also check for testimonial letters or references offered. No reputible breeder has time to handle, be familiar with & socialize so many difference puppies of different breeds. Please beware of website breeders who claim they are reputible breeders. You should be allowed to visit their kennels, dogs, & puppies if they are a reputible breeder. You can visit puppies in a Pet Store, which by the way is another place NOT to buy a puppy. Pet stores are places where Puppy Mills get rid of the dogs they can't sell on line & by supporting them, you only continue the cycle of these poor abused dogs. Please be tenaious about filing complaints anywhere you can regarding Sunnyville Kennels or any other Puppy Mill. There is a reason that their web site is no longer available. A tactic of a Puppy Mill owner is to shut their web page down when the heat is on & they are being found out/investigated & then sell under a new one, to not return you phone calls & block your emails. There are Puppy Mills all over the US & these people who call themselves dog breeders, should be ashamed of themselves! It is my hope that more people will follow-up with complaints everywhere they can & shut these Puppy Mills down.
Do your research when you want to buy a puppy. There are helpful web sites as to what to look for in a reputible breeder & kennel. DO NOT SUPPORT PUPPY MILLS for the sake of poor dogs who have no choice but to endure these awful conditions & for yourself!

Our website description should have been better detailed. We are licensed with the state of Missouri Department of Agriculture, license #43A2215. We are listed with the Missouri Better Business Bureau, the link to that website is: http://www.bbb.org/southwestern-missouri/business-reviews/dog-breeders/sunnyview-kennel-in-lebanon-mo-31299. We have been advised by our inspector to not show puppies to the public in our nursery due to the possibility of bringing in viruses to vulnerable small puppies. We have small puppies in our nursery that haven't received all required vaccinations due to their young age.
We have references available on request of satisfied customers. Our family has been doing this for over 20 years. A potential customer should be able to contact the Missouri Department of Agriculture for inspection reports if desired.
Our website address is my residence since we mail all paperwork out of this address for customers. Customers also send us pictures of the puppies as they grow to this address.
This particular person was insisting on a visit and our response was consistent with the MDA inspector of no visit. We understand if people require to see a puppy but we do not go against the MDA inspector's recommendation.
This report was filed due to our information not being detailed which we have corrected. We also couldn't satisfy the potential customer's requirement which we can't always do.
