Sunrise Ford Ripoff False information on contract for car to get loan and leave me with huge monthly payments North Hollywood California
I was looking for an affordable car at Sunrise ford and a sales person approached me. I let him know that I wanted to buy an affordable car for me he let me see a 2006 mustang GT convertable " which I knew I wasnt gonna afford because the price was 34,000" after I test drove it I let the sales person by the name of Pedro that it was too much for me, but later he let me see a 2003mustang GT coupe. It was alright, but I asked him if he would give me a better price for me since it was 18,000 and he said yes, that he would give me his employee discount.
After that, a sales manager by the name of Jesse came over and shook my hand and let me know that my credit was bad "which I had told Pedro before everything" but he asked how many years I worked for my company and I let him know that I had only been there for about 3 months, and he got close to me and said " we will put on the documents that you have worked there for 3 years because thats the only wasy I would get financed. after 2 hours waiting on the finance manager to get me into his office he made me sign my signature on some lines that he marked so I did because I was hungry and was sleep deprived, and behold, the next day I realized that I had signed some paperwork that made returning the car in the 3 day grace period void practically giving up my rights.
And also, instead of owing 18,000 dollars now I am gonna owe 40,000 with the 21% interest that they gave me and some other stuff they added on there. I took the car back the next day and the desk manager by the initials A.J told me that I signed the contract and that I was gonna have to ride this situation out meaning getting my credit ruined. I told him that he was dishonest with the bank that he was gonna do the financing with because they put that I worked for my company for 3 years when it was really 3 month's and that I worked 50 hours a week which was also a lie, he told me " but still you signed" so now I am going for legal help because this is one car that I cannot afford and I most certainly will not make 500.00 dollar payments making 1600.00 a month with 300.00 insurance bills.
The desk manager A.J disrespected me telling me " common, you can afford 500.00 dollars a month? just stop smoking that weed and buying that crack and you'll see" I am not buying that, I will see if I can sue this company for being dishonest with the finance bank about the years I worked for my company so I may get approved because from the start they knew I wasnt gonna be able to afford this car but were just money hungry.
I called the finance dept that they were working with letting them know that I was gonna file for bankrupcy if they gave them the money, And not to do it, that I was gonna take the car back. I called A.J again and let him know and he said " We have hundreds of other finance company's that we can get the money from" We will see about that my good man.
