Bought a 2001 Chrysler Pt cruiser from Superior Auto, located at Meyers Rd. Celina, Ohio. Gave my truck as part of downpayment.  The car stopped moving the following day. Took car back, they promised the car will be fixed and gave me a loaner on Friday, and reposessed it on Saturday morning, for not receiving the weekly payment (which was not due yet)

After this I told them that I don't want to have anything to do with them, and requested the return of the truck. I was informed that they don't have it anymore. Instead of arguing I took my loss, rather than any further dealing with these people.

Later they sent me a letter, demanding payment for the car, the car what they had in their garage or on their lot.  In total I had the Chrysler about a day and a half, and the loaner car less than a day.

A few days ago I received a letter from SAC Finance (Ft.Wayne, IN) advising me that they will auction off the car, if they don't get enough money for it, they want me to pay for the difference plus their expenses.

SAC also called my employer to inquire about wages garnishment.

This cannot be legal!

 

(I tried to go back to do some changes at the registering, since my grandson is to one in this situation. I wrote in his name but registered in my name. I wish I could found your site sooner.

The Rip-Off prevention report certainly would have kept us away from people like Superior auto/SAC Finance. Unfortunately an 18 years old does not have the patients to save up enough money to go to a reputable dealer.)
