EDitor's UPDATED info 2-20-04: Rip-off Report is still receiving complaints that they are not receiving the refunds as promised. Rip-off Report has been in contact with the Company and has made them aware of these issues. They have assured us that refunds are being given to those who are providing them with all the correct contact information requested by them. They have also provided confirmation/proof of over 2,600 refunds to date, on a spreadsheet, and Rip-off Report staff called and verified more than a dozen consumers at random, all very angry & outraged, but, they all did get their refund. The company again apologized for the delay and reported that credit to your account could take as long as 4-5 days. As we understand it, this company only does the processing for all the other companies, so they are at the mercy of those companies funds, further delaying your refund.

Rip-off Report is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will, ..we'll see. Rip-off Report will continue to investigate more into this situation, and we will eventually post an UPDATE to the main Report at this web address: https://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=76605

Please be patient, we can only tell you what they are telling us.

CLICK HERE to see how Superior Benefits contacted Rip-off Report, stating they will give REFUNDS to unsatisfied customers.

I first received a phone call in mid August of 2003. I spoke with a Julia and she offered me this great credit card offer.

Being someone who is always short on money, my family has two custody cases going and I am currently unemployed, I jumped on the offer. I thought it could help us pay a few of those extra bills that always seem to pop up.

I arranged for Superior Benefits to withdraw the $299 one time membership fee directly from my accout on August 29th, 2003. Of course they were prompt on getting their payment.

Two weeks later I received a folder full of cheesy online offers supposedly to fix my credit. I didn't think that this was what I was offered but supposed they came as a bonus for being a member with the company.

Two weeks later when my credit card had not arrived yet I called and asked if maybe it had gotten lost. I was told that a letter was to be sent to my mailing address, for security purposes, for me to sign and send back. I told them that I had not gotten that letter and they said it must have gotten lost and they would send me another one. I called about three more times over the next month and a half about it and was always told that they would send it out immediatly.

It has been over six months now since they have taken my money and I keep getting the run-around. I have called dozens of times and I've been hung up on after waiting 45 minutes on the phone just to talk to somebody for 30 seconds. I've been told multiple times that because it's been so long that I have to speak to a manager, Christian, but the manager never seems to be available or has left for the day. I wish I had his job, it seems he doesn't ever have to be at work.

I have also had a family attorney/representative call for me and they say that they can only talk to me. When I called back a couple a days ago, it seems their phone has been disconnected.

I want my money back! This $300 has cost me my wedding because I didn't have the rest of the deposit for the facility. I need this money back!

I have now reported this company to the FBI as I have found about 13 different names that this company is possibly using. If you go to the FBI website you can call them or submit a complaint using their electronic form. I have found over 800 complaints about this company on this website alone and I am determined to put a stop to this. If anyone is planning a class action lawsuit...please let me in on it.

Someone just posted this number yesterday and I saw it under World Benefits. 1-888-898-7135. I'm pretty sure it's the right number as it's the same recording that I used to get when calling Superior Benefits before that # was disconnected. I called it three times in just over and hour and got hung up on every time. So....good luck calling it. I just thought it might help.

It is now into May and I have yet to hear from anyone about getting my money back.

But I did get another phone call from a Guardian Financial Benefits. I soon came to find out that Guardian Financial is operating out of the same address as Superior Benefits and could possibly be the same company operating under a different name. A month later they proceeded to withdraw $249 from my same checking account. I also had another $40, authorized through the same company, withdrawn from my account for some long distance service. Why would I want a long distance service when I don't have a land line and only a cellular phone with coast to coast long distance...huh? I received a package via UPS delivered to my house on April 27th and immediatly returned it. Inside was a return policy stating that I had seven days to cancel my membership and 30 days to send the entire contents of the package back. I made copies of all membership letters and the return policy, kept the proof of delivery off of the envelope, and sent it back the very next day. I sent a detailed letter with the package stating that I expected a full refund and sent it by certified mail to FCFHS-Guardian, 1055 W. Lake Dr, 3rd Floor, Berwyn, PA 19312. It was signed for and I hope this time I can get my money back. I intend to contact Superior Benefits any way that I can and try to get a refund for the first time. Beware! I think this company is operating under different aliases and scamming people repeatedly.
