I went searching on the internet for consumer laws and found that both Iowa(where the company is) and Missouri(where I live) have a 3 day right to cancel when someone does business with you in your home. It is the sellers responsibility to both orally and in writing disclose to the consumer that they have a 3 day period from the date the contract is signed to cancel. If the seller fails to do that and the buyer wants out of the contract, then the buyer can cancel. Iowa also has laws directed specifically at companies that offer business opportunities, concerning misrepresentation of the value of the business and making false income claims. So if anyone out there has a Clayton Blue or anyone like him make you sign a contract in your home you do have three days to cancel, and if the seller doesnt tell you both in writing and verbally, they have committed a misdemeanor and you can get out of the contract and sue for any money paid to the company.
