My company is an ex-dealer/distributor for Superior Living Products, LLC. We purchased an "exclusive territory" upwards of $19,000.00 for absolutely nothing. We were led on to believe they manufactured there own tubs in Pottstown, PA when in fact, they do not. They advertise that dealers will receive "interest free" financing plans to offer to our customers, they took that away without any notice.

After 4 months of being a dealer, they started sending us monthly bills to help pay for THEIR advertising bills. LET IT BE KNOWN, that Lou Consoli and Joe Scott are theives and are very good at there scam.

If you are a consumer, think again; if you are wanting to do business with them, run!!! Bottom line, they are in a win-win situation. If your dealership doesn't perform, they WILL cancel you and sell to someone else. It's a cycle that doesn't end....good luck!

It is with trepidation that we respond to this false accusation fearing that it will lend merit to it. Nonetheless we've decided that being proactive in discounting this claim is paramount. First and foremost Superior Living Products provides walk-in bathtubs and other related to products to the USA and Canada through our dealer network and direct sales. We have our tubs manufactured to our specifications in an OEM capacity. We never have and never have claimed that we manufacture the product in Pottstown, PA. In fact all dealers visit our location in Pennsylvania when they go through our training program. If this particular dealer (who chose to write this false claim anonymously we know who obviously) was under the impression that we manufactured in Pennsylvania why didn't they ask to see the manufacturing facility when they came in for training? That is simply the first hole in their story. Secondly, regarding the interest free financing, we at corporate have a relationship with a financing company where we can offer several programs to our customers. As indicated in any advertisements that we run for dealers as well as in the dealer contract the individual dealers must qualify for the program as each dealer is in his own business. We do not finance in-house nor have we ever and just like any business who wants to offer financing to their customers they must find a program then qualify for it. It is stated nowhere and has never been articulated that there is a guarantee that a dealer will qualify for the financing program. Thirdly, as part of our commitment to the dealers we initiated a co-op advertising program (again it is identified in the dealer contract) where we contract and advertise nationally in a high profile publication and direct mail program that gives the entire network of dealers exposure to millions of potential customers. Superior Living Products absorbs most of the cost of this and the dealers pay a small percentage. This optimizes a portion of their advertising budget, a budget that they have committed to in the dealer agreement. This co-op advertising campaign is designed to support their local campaigns in addition to facilitate good brand recognition. It is clearly stated in the dealer training and basic business knowledge that advertising is extremely capricious and that a multitude of mediums and approaches should be utilized and kept fluid. In addition to providing the dealer the opportunity, through the co-op advertising program, to be included in these otherwise cost prohibitive advertisements Superior Living Products fields all the calls and sends the leads directly to the dealer in the specific territory adding additional value to the program. If you are considering a business in the walk-in bathtub industry we invite you to explore the Superior Living Products business model, you will have all the information you need to decide if the person who posted this statement is accurate or if they simply failed in their endeavor and now need to point a finger of blame. Finally, regarding the personal attack on the President and Vice President, simply, we do take your derogatory statement personally and we will exhaust all efforts to find you liable for defamation.
