Superlift.com Keith Goolsby/Dustin Rose Another lift not delivered, OUT $5,000 plus and no phone call just excuses on an answering machine Aurora, Missouri
Superlifts was a major vendor for auto lifts at the April - Barrett Jackson Show in Palm Beach, Florida. Superlifts was set-up in the main area with Ford and Chevy. I decided to purchase this lift, because of the company was at the auction and their adds in motor magazines such as Hemmings' Motor News. I purchased a 4 post lift with promise of delivery in 6 weeks. Giving them a check for the purchase price of $5,285.00 on April 9,2011 we expected our lift by June.
Then the tornado, I looked at the map where the tornado hit and said to my wife your never going to believe where the lift shop is? We contacted the company to see if they were OK and to see how long or if there would be delay in delivery. Speaking with Donnie, he assured us it would be sent, yet it looked more like July 11 or the 15th. Not a problem, being from Florida we understand natural disasters and sent our prayers. When we did not get a call or email, we called again. This time it we spoke to Dustin, who according to Dustin, let Donnie go that Monday for not following through with customers.
Dustin assured, my wife, that he would call back by the next Wed. July 27th not matter what. He did mention an unfortunate accident concerning the owner's brother. Again she sent our prayers and thanked him for his information and his concern for our purchase. No call Wed. July 27th.
Answering machine...something like there was an accident and we will get back to you shortly. Left a message. No reply. Sent an email stating that if we do not hear back by Aug. 5th, we will seek legal action and contact agencies such as this reporting service as well as the Better Business Bureau. No reply. Next answering message; Three weeks ago the owner had a terrible accident and is in a comma. We are seeking power of attorney from the courts and will hopefully open at the end of the week. Left message, no reply.
We thought it was the owner's brother?
Guess what? Called again. Still the same message, no calls or emails. Contacted legal services. I could not find a number for the owner. I feel terrible about the natural disaster, the family accident; but you know, even when my family had terrible things happen and natural disaster came, I still had to work. And that is my hard working, $5,285.00 dollars taken from my hand. At least with a thief that comes into your home or takes it from your person you don't leave thinking you are getting something in return.

Not sure if this helps, but I just ran across this information on Keith and Sarah Goolsby, owners of superlifts aka superior lifts aka mid america lifts aka Gemini Auto Lifts. They are in the process of selling their massive home at (((REDACTED))) Branson, Missouri. You might want to alert your legal contacts of their location.
