Supermodels Unlimited Fraud, waste, abuse Hampton, Massachusetts
We were promised a cover of our model at a shoot out of state. The published spread at the out of state shoot was beautiful, so we had high hopes for a great cover. We got the CD several months later. I have to access online photography specific software to reduce the pixels, even to print the photos for our use.
My daughter shot with them after an out of state pageant. Some of the pictures are cute, but few are usable for portfolios. To my knowledge, these photos were never published. We got the CD as promised after numerous requests via phone message and email. The second CD had a photo of the owner's boyfriend sitting in a hotel chair.
Two years later, our model was asked to be a product representative. In hair and make-up, the technicians were not happy with the product shoot. The photographer even instisted on the majority of the shoot without the product. It is very odd to be asked to go to hair in makeup in someone's hotel room instead of a banquet room. When I expressed concerned to the SU staff, I was first rebutted. The second staff member tried to get the cover reshot, but it was an out of state location that would have required many miles of travel and missing the middle of the week of school, which was unacceptable.
The cover was never produced and I understand 15 plus different covers were promised for the production date. We were sent a mock cover image. Likewise, the product shoot was never published. We do not have the last two CDs. Calls and emails to the owner and staff have gone unanswered.
