Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

After I posted and ad on Craig's list for my service I was contacted by someone who called himself Jose Yumet.  He said that he was looking for vendors that provided my service and he could provide me with a lot of work.  He told me this was a once in a life time opportunity and only a select few from the area would be chosen .  I first needed to  send him my references and if I am selected he will send me an email with additional information.  He gave me his personal email and phone number at first.  I was able to call him an time of the day.

Time was of the essence and if I delayed then I would miss out on this great deal. Finally I was made aware that he was seeking for me to  do advertising with superpages  and it will cost me money.  My first concern was that I did not have a budget for advertising and I will not be able to pay for it.  He guaranteed me that I would receive additional clients so I could pay for the additional advertising cost.   I even had three month to pay and I should have new clients by then.  I have yet to receive one phone call or even one inquiry about my service from a superpages lead.  Although I did receive leads from telemarketing people ( just what I needed more people asking for money), a few hang ups, and someone looking for a job.  NO NEW BUSINESS!!!  They were suppose to send out mailers .  The mailers they maid looked  silly and  all the information I requested be included on the mailer was omitted so I ask that they not be sent.

So why should I pay hundreds of dollars for nothing. It so sad that instead of Superpage trying to be a respectable company they have resorted to scamming small business out of their money

Hi. I just found this website in reading all of the complaints against my former company. I left a long time ago because this company is extremely unethical. I was trained by this company to do all these sales practices, so anything that they tell you is not the truth. We were trained to do these shady practices to get sales. This was my first job out of college and I thought it was going to be great. But then, when I started waking up and dreading going to work, I knew I had to leave. I didn't even stay long, maybe 8 months. My conscience got the best of me. We were always told that people liked the our company, had many testimonials. The reason I couldn't be in contact with you is because we are not allowed to speak. We were strictly to do new business, we couldn't manage the account. You were probably directed to CUSTOMER CARE and given the runaround. I have been in sales and very successful, but this is the worst company I had ever worked for. No ethics whatsoever. Just lying and cheating. I am an ethical person and am hoping that people file a lawsuit against my former company. The company is bankrupt for a reason. The sales practices here are sick. I never came up with them, I was taught them. To keep my first job, this is what I had to do. Now, I'm at a company where I took a huge pay decrease but am happy. But I can't imagine what the clients are doing or how pissed they are. At our job, you are suppose to make 100 calls a day..well, the last few weeks, I didn't even pick up the phone because I knew it didn't work. I had to stop. Couldn't do it. I can imagine people were pissed. So I just quit. This company is a fraud. Even the sales people now are making fraudulent sales to keep their numbers up. And they are getting caught and fired. Just so you know, this company trained me to do this. Completely shady. I apologize for the severe unfortunate aggravation you must feel. There is nothing I can do or say.  I literally was sick over this job. I hope you end up suing or taking this company to small claims court.

Here is one of the first Emails I received:

Please send me your references, about 2-3 businesses that I can talk to. Like I said, I have a rare opportunity that has come up in my business that can get you extra commercial accounts consistently throughout the year. So I just want to make sure the person I get is reputable.

Please reply back to this email or to [email protected]. I will try and call your references before Tuesday. Call me on Tuesday  at 10:30. If I haven't heard from you then, I will try at around 3:00 p.m. Please try to connect with me because I need to get an exclusive cleaning service quick.

I apologize for calling on Saturday night. Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

I'll be in touch,

I received a call for you people a week ago and I told you my side then .  When I sent you posted the last rebuttle I sent you my information.  Still we are at this .  I also sent customer service a copy of the email I sent to the rep asking him to cancell my service after I received a silly looking flyer they was trying to send out.  Not only did not not approve the flyer but the information on the flyer was incorrect. Their response was that it was longer than 14 day so I have no  recourse.  So I still refuse to pay 1000 dollars for no benifit. I have not received on job and the flyer was not approved to go out . I believe the couple of  phone calls I received was fake and I know a few was from people looking for work.  Bottom line I received no benifit so I am not paying you one penny . Also I received daly collection calls and  I tell each one of your collector why I an not going to pay. Do I need to post all the emails to verify my time line and what was discussed?

Hello sir,

As an employee of this company I apologize for the poor sales tactics and service that you received from this individual. As with any coporation it is impossible to make sure that every one acts responsibly and unfortunately there will always be bad sales people in every industry, in every company. No one teaches us to ask for references or any of that other hoopla, that is just this individual being unethical.

In the end the objective of every sales person and business owner is to help others by servicing them. If the cards were not approved by you, they should not passed quality control without your approval. I don't know what industry you are in or how competitve it is, but you might want to contact Idearc customer service to have your page improved so it stands out from your competitors. It may involve some creative thinking or your end.

best of luck
